Job Description

Due to Service User requirements, we only seek dedicated and compassionate female domiciliary care workers to join our client’s team in the Essex area.

The role involves providing high-quality personal care and support to clients in their homes. In addition, all applicants MUST have their car and have a valid UK driving license or an International license with at least 4 or 5 months remaining.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support with toileting needs and continence management.
  • Administer prescribed medications and monitor health conditions.
  • Report any changes in health to a supervisor or healthcare professional.
  • Helped clients with mobility and transfers using appropriate equipment.
  • Accompany clients to appointments or social activities.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Ensure the home environment is safe and comfortable.
  • Provide companionship and engage in conversation to alleviate loneliness.
  • Support clients’ mental and emotional well-being through active listening and encouragement.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in the client’s condition.
  • Complete daily logs and report to the supervisor as required.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Attend regular training sessions and stay updated with best care practices.

Requirements

  • Valid driving license and access to a car.
  • Must have experience in domiciliary care within the UK
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
